So the project as a supporting project for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, will be completed in July 2019. DOHA Port Redevelopment project is located in Doha, Qatar, divided into two projects: one is Sport & Container Marina project, and the other is Floating Garden project.
Sport & Container Marina is mainly used to dock the private yachts of the Royalty, which covers 155 berths, includes 30 berths of Jet Ski, 56 berths of 15-meter, 41 berths of 20-meter, and 30 berths of 30-meter. Livart use Regular Duty and Heavy Duty aluminum alloy systems for all berths. Livart’s Regular Duty marina widely accepted in the market. After more than 10 years of continuous improvement, the marina is a very mature system. The combination of components is very delicate, and the stability is extremely firm, and it is easy to install and disassemble. Livart’s Heavy-Duty floating pontoons are calculated based on Wind-Wave-Currency and vessel impact forces. Imposed loading capacity for heavy duty pontoon is typically more than 3.50KPa, with freeboard usually higher than 750mm, and having super strong connection of the joints between pontoons. Its top quality and processing from the design to material to fabrication have gotten high praise.
Floating Garden is shaped like three trees and has floating main trunks and floating finger trunks. Every pier is made up of gangway, walkway, floating island, floating cabana and garden, and is the first tree-shaped floating garden around the world. The floating garden is designed to provide people with a place to relax and entertain on the water, and it is based on heat pump and solar technology. The marine materials Livart use is environmentally and do no harm to the seabed or marine life.
All the pontoon are moored to piles with guides. Livart standard pile guides have been designed for mooring all type of pontoons, every guide is designed after dynamic theoretical calculation, made with strong welded and aluminium 6082 T6 structure, low friction polyethylene wearing blocks and rubber fender around.
